

MIL Class ties up with Globe telecom for Digital Thumbprint Forum

As part of the final task of the Media and Information Literacy under the supervision of Mr. Gabrielle E. Flores, the Grade 11 General Academic Strand students tied up with Globe Telecom Philippines to conduct the Digital Thumbprint Symposium held last March 17, 2017 at the SEDP building of Villazar National High School with over 200 participants from Grade 10 and grade 11 students actively join the program. The speakers were Ms. Marielle Anne Salamatos, Mr. Paul Avila, Ms. Novelita Matibag, Mr. Joseph Maranan and their team leader, Ms. Patricia Cristina Magnaye.
The symposium aims to empower the students pf VNHS on social media and making them more responsible netizens for the better world. During the conduct of the said event, Globe Telecom gives freebies and rewards like NBA keychains and magic fan to the students who show exemplary participation during the discussion. At the end of the program, the General Academic Strand shown their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the sponsors by giving them tokens and certificates. The VNHS faculty and staffs are looking forward for more partnership with Globe Telecom.
